Our Philosophy and Approach
Fable psychotherapy takes a narrative approach to therapy, with an emphasis on collaboration. In sessions we are a team, we are equals, and you know your experience best. Approaches used, theories and applications in sessions will all be transparent, and client comprehensions and involvement are key. Encouraging clients to listen to their needs and advocate for themselves. Other orientations of therapy used include, CBT, DBT, Solution focused, and emotion focused.

Individual Therapy
One on one individualized therapy sessions, best for addressing personal concerns/matters. These sessions are for anyone, Children, youth/teens, adults, LGBTQIA2S+, Women, Men.

Family Therapy
A combination of both individual and group sessions with the family unit. Meant for balancing all dynamics whilst also giving space for each individual member.

Roommate/Social Circle Counselling
Brief solution focused therapy focused on communication and understanding. Just because the person or group of people that would like therapy aren’t biological family or romantic partners doesn’t mean therapy is not for you!

Tabletop Roleplaying Therapy
A form of Group counselling that utilizes role playing games to provide both structure to sessions and opportunity for clients to work through issues, practise skills, and socially resherse. Please feel free to reach out to inquire about more information regarding this model!
